A little more about me:
Even though I was born in Boston, Massachusetts; I did live in Brazil for a good part of my life, which is where my parents are originally from. I moved to Orlando, Florida in 2011 and have been here since.
I do enjoy Orlando and I am very grateful with the choice my parents made of moving to the South rather than going back to the North, unfortunately I do not have a lot of family members in the United States besides my parents and my two siblings, but we did make a lot of friends that give us a lot of love and support and we consider them to be family.
Personally, I enjoy spending my free time traveling, attending concerts, eating foods from different cultural backgrounds, taking my dogs out, sometimes going to the beach, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
Throughout my life, I was able to acquire great social skills such as, communicating with others, taking initiative, asking questions when necessary. I’m never afraid to speak my mind when needed and trying to improve myself for me and for others.
I started to fall in love with the medical field after a family member was hospitalized for a while, this time showed medical field workers have an impact not only on the patient, but also on their families by giving them hope, love and support.
I graduated from Cypress Creek High School, and then started my college education at Valencia College with an associates in art for General Studies and then transferred to the University of Central Florida to complete my bachelor’s degree in the Health Sciences Pre-Clinical program, I currently work as a Pharmacy Technician where I have great interaction with patients.
My main goal is to go attend graduate school and obtain a degree as Physician Assistant; with this degree I plan on having a career in the Psychiatric field in order to contribute to the life of patients with mental disorders and help them live a happy life.
